Friday Mail Call

Hey readers! Well four more books arrived today. One is an ARC and three are final copies. The ARC is "Princess For Hire" by Lindsey Leavitt, and the others are from Phil Bowie's John Hardin trilogy, "Guns," "Diamondback," and "KLLRS." Phil very graciously autographed all three novels.


I am off to cut down a tree for my 83 year old neighbor lady Retha. She's such a sweet old woman, I would hate to see her struggle in cutting a tree down at her age. :( We are moving back to Kentucky very soon and I will miss her. She is a very talented artist. My birthday is Groundhog's Day. She showed me a painting she did of two groundhog's over this past winter. It's a beautiful painting, maybe she'll let me buy it off her?! :)


Well I'm off to pull a George Washington and cut down a tree. Later today (most likely tonight), I will be posting "The Beautiful Between" review. This is a book off of the Debute Author Challenge I joined, and the first one from the list I will finish. I'm off to a good start, eh?!

Thursday Mail Call!

Hey readers! Well today I got six new ARC's. Thanks to David Patneaude for an autographed ARC of "Epitaph Road," Stefan Petrucha for sending a final, hardback autographed copy of "Split," and both author Alyssa B Sheinmel and Roshan Nozari from Random House publishing for "The Beautiful Between. Silhouette Nocturne's monthly package arrived today containing "Wolf Trap" by Linda Thomas Sundstrom, "Mistress of the Underground" by Lisa Childs, "Reunion" by Lindsay McKenna, and "The Hunted" by Anna Leonard.

Opening Day

I recently aquired a book titled "Godmother: The Secret Cinderella Story" by Carolyn Turgeon. Before this book I had no remote clue there was such a thing as ACR's (Advanced Copy Reviews) also called Galley's. So I began doing some research and found out that anyone can request such a copy as long as they provide a review of sorts.

This is what caused me to join Blogger. Along with my various social networking sites, Blogger will help keep readers up to date with upcoming releases. I review and you get the heads up! :) Well my time is up and Godmother is calling my name. I wonder if she can help me with my Prince Charming?
